STEREOTYPED!!!

NOTE:- Was once written for a magazine but then never got published. Some inputs from Soumojit Basu. Thanks for making me write some good stuff.:)

STEREOTYPED!!!!

Just the other day my friend and I were sitting alone in the school playground, checking out the crowd, when we invented this random game. Of course, we would like to call it a “social experiment”!! Then I reached home and gave it some good conclusion, but then...I ended up self contradicting, thanks to my mobile.

AIM: To analyze what boys and girls talk about in one whole day, and stereotype them (evil laughter)!

PROCESS: This was a natural field study; the subjects were approached casually and asked a few questions.

CAUTION: These results shouldn’t be generalized. Some very unique personalities were put to test and then the results were published. Everyone need not relate to this.

TYPE
FUTURE PLANS
Boys -
Nerds
To say “Newton would have bowed down before me if he were alive today.”
To marry someone who doesn’t disturb them while they solve their equations, preferably someone who solves her own equations.
Boys –
Athletes
To become a famous footballer / cricketer, despise hockey players all the more.
To marry someone like Victoria Beckham who will help him stay famous after his bones get tired.
Girls -
Nerds
To become a research scholar in some foreign university.
To marry the nerdy guy with thick black glasses, and solve equations with him all day.
Girls –
Beauty Queens
To become a supermodel.
To marry the famous footballer / cricketer and be the host to his success parties.

 ADVICE:-

GIRLS: What happens to some girls when they suddenly become “Boy Lovers” from “Boy- haters”. The same guy, who used to have mucus flowing out of the nose in Class 4 becomes an eye candy when he is all mature in 16? Why is it that some girls forget that they need to make a world of their own, stand out and remove all the conventions of “girls are the weaker part of the world!” Make use of your adrenaline rush, don't use it for drooling over some guy. It wont fetch profits.

Boys: There is a world outside your own! Cricket, Football, Mean, Median and Mode, anything! There is a huge world to take care of! Think about it! And girls, they are lot more than woman on the ramps.

Only studies, only fun, only games, it is not going to fetch us anything. It will end up futile and we will end up regretting how we wasted our days!

(That does not mean girls should stop talking about boys, and boys should stop talking about Cricket and Math. Come on, I am not being that mean.)

Tring tring! SHIT! That cute boy is calling me! WHAT WILL HE SAYYY????

( I already said, don’t generalize)

That is such an accurate stereotype - I was a nerdy girl through and through, and always had crushes on the the intelligent-gangly kids!!
